Safe movement of your cylinders doesn't stop there either, as possible damage to gas welding regulators, gas welding hose, flashback arrestors and cutting equipment, is minimised too.
Cylinder fires are extremely difficult to manage & the volatility of acetylene in particular means that it should never be laid horizontally. Our gas cylinder trolleys have been carefully designed to allow you to transport heavy gas bottles across large workspaces with the minimum of fuss and effort.
The manual handling of gas cylinders in the workplace should form part of your risk assessment policy.
The British Compressed Gas Association(BCGA) ,whose guidance we follow around CP7 gas equipment testing, make particular reference to the use cylinder trolleys in guidance notes GN3- 'Safe cylinder handling and the application of manual handling operations regulations to gas cylinders'.
